Small Business Insurance Manager

We are seeking a motivated Small Business Insurance Manager to join our team. This role involves managing a book of business within the small business department, focusing on accounts with premium sizes under $20,000.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with various insurance carrier products, carrier websites, and rating systems. They will be responsible for collaborating with producers to manage all policy-related activities for assigned accounts, following producers' instructions to manage monthly renewals lists and market renewals and new business accounts, providing quote analysis for producers, and assisting in preparing policy coverage summaries and proposals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing policies, endorsements, and audits
  • Interacting daily with clients to receive policy change requests and respond to questions about changes and coverages
  • Communicating daily with insurance carriers to request endorsements, order policies, negotiate pricing, and respond to carrier information requests

The successful candidate will possess knowledge and experience working with various insurance carrier products, carrier websites, and rating systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
