Gold Production Quality Assurance Specialist

This position plays a vital part in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our gold production process.
">Key Responsibilities:- Conduct timely metallurgical tests and experiments to analyze gold ore samples properties.
- Collaborate with Metallurgists and other team members to collect, prepare, and analyze samples using laboratory equipment and techniques.
- Record and report test results accurately and promptly.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Monitor and account for reagent handling.
- Collaborate with the mill assay lab to prioritize and receive sample results in a timely manner.
- Enter data from lab and field analyses into Mill systems using MS Excel.
- Higher Secondary Education: NATIN/AMTO – Chemical analyst or associate degree in Metallurgy, Chemistry, or related field.
- 2 - 5 years of experience working in a metallurgy lab or similar environment.
- Solid understanding of optimizing mill throughput and recovery.
- Proficiency in MS Office, laboratory equipment and techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Excellent English communication skills; Dutch is an asset.
- Willingness to work on a rotational schedule of 14 days on/ 7 days off.
- Familiarity with MS Excel and laboratory software.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
