About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon AWS Services Brazil Ltd - E07. As a key member of our Public Sector practice, you will play a critical role in helping us accelerate our growing State and Local Government business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects
  • Define implementation architectures, respond to RFPs, and develop a deep expertise in AWS technologies
  • Be a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services
  • Provide exceptional technical design and thought leadership to our customers
  • Lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solution architect community
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
  • 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
  • Experience in working and deploying solutions for SLG customers
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience
  • Experience working with end-user or developer communities
  • Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese
