Our mission is to make reading accessible for everyone. As a software engineer on our data infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining the backend services that power our AI-driven platform.
Key Responsibilities- We design and implement scalable data pipelines to support our model training operations.
- Operate and extend cloud infrastructure for ingestion pipelines using GCP and Terraform.
- Collaborate with scientists to deliver richer data at bigger scale and lower cost, powering next-generation models.
- Craft the AI team's dataset roadmap to power consumer and enterprise products.
- Hold a degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Have 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
- Be proficient in bash/Python scripting in Linux environments.
- Have proficiency in Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts, with professional experience in major Cloud Providers (GCP).
- Experience with web crawlers, large-scale data processing workflows.
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
