About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance across the organization, staying up-to-date with industry standards and regulations.

  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements and industry developments.
  • Developing and implementing effective compliance strategies to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Liaising with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of compliance initiatives.
  • Providing guidance and support to employees on regulatory matters.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Monitoring regulatory updates and mandates issued by credit card brands, ensuring proactive compliance.

  2. Interpreting complex regulatory requirements and developing actionable plans to address business needs.

  3. Effective communication with internal stakeholders to ensure timely implementation of compliance measures.

  4. Aligning regulatory requirements with business objectives to drive operational and commercial growth.

Requirements

  • A proven track record in regulatory compliance, with experience in technical negotiations with card brands.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to represent the company in forums, committees, and meetings.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry expectations and potential flexibilities that can provide competitive advantages.
