Job Description:

  • Support diverse platforms, ensuring seamless application performance across Unix and Windows environments.
  • Play a pivotal role in strategic cloud migration initiatives, driving business growth through efficient infrastructure management.
  • Implement and manage advanced monitoring tools like Elasticsearch, Nagios, and Prometheus to optimize system performance.
  • Utilize cutting-edge DevOps technologies such as Terraform and Ansible for automated infrastructure as code deployments.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to migrate applications to cloud platforms, enhancing scalability and reliability.
  • Implement and manage job scheduling with Control-M, ensuring timely and efficient task execution.
  • Execute deployments using Jenkins, streamlining the software release process.
  • Develop automation scripts using languages like Python and Batch, reducing manual errors and improving productivity.
  • Troubleshoot complex incidents, coordinating with team members to resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional operational support for PROD and NON-PROD platforms, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, providing 24/7 support for critical systems.
  • Contribute to the automation of manual processes and deployment/batch control workflows, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and applications, staying ahead of industry trends.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with monitoring tool implementation and operational tasks, including Elasticsearch and Nagios.
  • Experience implementing jobs with Control-M and knowledge of MFT Batch Module is desirable.
  • Experience implementing and executing with deployment tools such as Jenkins.
  • Proven experience with scripting languages like Python or Batch.
  • Experience supporting both Windows and Unix environments.
  • Experience supporting Production environments.
  • Experience with Control-M/JIRA/Confluence/VMWare is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work on-call rotation and provide flexible support.
  • Keen to automate manual processes and improve workflow efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with Sophis is a bonus.
  • Ability to work remotely from Brazil.
