About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fraud Prevention Strategy Manager to join our team at SumUp. As a key member of our fraud prevention squad, you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust fraud prevention strategies to protect our business and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of professionals in developing and implementing fraud prevention strategies, focusing on areas such as merchant onboarding, card transactions, and PIX operations.
  • Create and enhance decision rules using data intelligence to detect and prevent fraud in real-time, ensuring a balanced approach between security and user experience.
  • Collaborate with local and global squads and tribes, negotiating priorities and aligning efforts to ensure the successful execution of strategic projects aimed at reducing fraud rates.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation in fraud prevention by exploring new technologies and approaches that can anticipate and neutralize emerging threats.
Requirements
