We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to drive growth in Brazil's e-commerce market. This role involves leveraging business development skills to negotiate and operate high-priority partnerships with top retail chains, playing a key role in executing our vision and strategy of connecting consumers to final delivery.
The ideal candidate will clearly communicate the value of our platform to enterprise accounts, drive revenue generation through prospecting, qualifying, and closing new businesses, construct and run sales pipelines via Salesforce CRM, perform financial analyses to deeply understand country-specific strategies and partner logistics reliability, develop meaningful relationships with key partners by building trust and crafting successful joint business plans, analyze operational metrics to ensure order reliability and maximize value, and act as an ambassador of our mission, brand, and product, solving problems for partners and team members.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage business development skills to drive growth in Brazil's e-commerce market
- Negotiate and operate high-priority partnerships with top retail chains
- Clearly communicate the value of our platform to enterprise accounts
- Drive revenue generation through prospecting, qualifying, and closing new businesses
- Construct and run sales pipelines via Salesforce CRM
- Perform financial analyses to deeply understand country-specific strategies and partner logistics reliability
- Develop meaningful relationships with key partners by building trust and crafting successful joint business plans
- Analyze operational metrics to ensure order reliability and maximize value
- Act as an ambassador of our mission, brand, and product, solving problems for partners and team members
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in Operations Management, Key Account Management, Sales, or Business Development in a large business or growing startup
- Experience in sales & account management, proven track record in business development, and client management preferred
- Good business understanding and judgment; comfortable handling financial information and strategic choices
- Empathetic when dealing with people; able to establish relationships quickly with external and internal stakeholders
- High adaptability to change and ability to execute quickly; pivot from long-term thinking to immediate action tactical response
- Be a meticulous, adaptable, dedicated team player who gets energy from building businesses; have the ability to prioritize selling activities and follow through in a timely manner
- Ability to negotiate pricing while retaining value
- Proficiency in English
