Job Description

As a seasoned leader in software development, you will be the go-to person for communicating with the team and stakeholders. Your primary responsibility will be to actively support the development teams and mentor less experienced team members. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic environment to provide web services solutions and develop new platforms and features.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively support the development teams;
  • Mentor less experienced team members;
  • Develop new platforms and features considering scalability, performance, and security requirements;
  • Participate in the complete cycle of development from requirements refinement, development, and testing;
  • Contribute to technical / architectural discussions / decisions with customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Leadership experience in software development teams;
  • Proficiency in Python versions 2 and 3;
  • Experience with Django and Flask frameworks;
  • Experience with pyTest;
  • Experience with Linux environments;
  • Experience with modeling, producing, and consuming web services-based APIs (RESTful);
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with Docker;
  • Experience with Jenkins;
  • Experience with OpenShift;
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies;
  • Familiarity with principles of distributed systems.
