Job Title: AWS Cloud Data Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of AWS Cloud Data Specialist. This position will be part of our data science team, responsible for researching, designing, and building AI systems for machine learning, as well as maintaining and improving existing AI systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing ETLs and ELTs for data transformations.
  • Building and managing data lake architectures.
  • Working with Apache Hadoop projects (Spark, Hive, Pig, Oozie, Airflow, etc.).
  • Integrating and testing data solutions; creating and documenting tests to meet requirements.
  • Managing data cloud services, data access, security, and data governance.
  • Preparing and analyzing data for machine learning workloads; monitoring and logging applications and services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in Data Engineer/Architect roles with ETL, data preparation & ingestion, data streaming.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in cloud environments (AWS).
  • Knowledge of Python, R or other data processing tools.
  • Intermediate English level.
  • Experience with Apache Spark.
  • Experience using AWS Data services: S3, AWS Glue, Athena, SageMaker, etc.
  • Experience using DevOps tools (Git, pipelines).
  • Agile Scrum team experience.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
