Job Description:

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of PPI programs at the site.
  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring progress of improvement efforts
  • Facilitating integration of prior transformation initiatives and methodologies
  • Measuring and reporting key aspects of PPI performance
  • Working closely with finance to build operational budgets and calculate financial impacts of improvement initiatives
  • Deploying opportunities to use PPI to enhance client satisfaction levels
  • Identifying and prioritizing annual PPI opportunities in conjunction with the site leadership team
  • Managing, coaching and developing leaders to embrace PPI concepts and techniques
  • Ensuring PPI training systems are established to develop site leaders

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and track the progress of ongoing improvement initiatives
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate integration of new methodologies
  3. Measure and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for PPI initiatives
  4. Work closely with finance to establish operational budgets and forecast financial outcomes
  5. Develop and implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction through PPI initiatives
  6. Partner with site leadership to identify and prioritize annual PPI opportunities
  7. Coach and develop leaders to adopt PPI principles and best practices
  8. Establish and maintain PPI training programs to upskill site leaders

Requirements:

We seek a highly motivated individual with strong business acumen and experience in continuous improvement. The ideal candidate should have a background in business, engineering or science and a minimum of 2-5 years' experience in a regulated industry preferably within the pharmaceutical sector. Additionally, 2-5 years' working experience in a continuous improvement related capacity with exposure to lean principles and Six Sigma tools is required.

  • Knowledge of lean principles and Six Sigma tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate degree in business, engineering or science
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of achieving significant improvements through continuous improvement initiatives
