Job Title: Inventory Management Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Inventory Management Specialist. This key position plays a crucial part in the supply chain function, responsible for managing inventory levels, overseeing imported components, and defining inventory strategies aligned with our organization's objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Experience in material planning teams, preferably in the automotive industry, is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the organization's inventory levels in the region from both value and coverage perspectives, ensuring optimal Days on Hand (DoH) levels.
  • Overseeing the management of imported components with the team, ensuring timely receipt and accurate storage.
  • Defining inventory strategies aligned with the organization's objectives, taking into account market trends and business unit needs.
  • Monitoring the weekly forecast, quarterly inventory closing for the region, and allocation by stock type.
  • Identifying and eliminating obsolete inventory, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
  • Collaborating with the Procurement team regarding supplier delivery performance, ensuring timely receipt of materials.
  • Ensuring strong integration and collaboration of the team with other departments, particularly within the Supply Chain function.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields.
  • Postgraduate degree in the area is desirable.
  • Advanced English language skills for conversation.
  • Knowledge of SAP (PP and MM modules).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
