Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Chargeback Analyst to join our Fraud Prevention Team. As a Chargeback Analyst, you will be responsible for proactively monitoring chargeback KPIs and performance, following all chargeback activities flow, identifying offenders and opportunities, and contributing with disruptive ideas and insights that will benefit the business.

Main Responsibilities
  • Act in a customer-centric way for Enterprise Merchants
  • Proactively monitor chargeback KPIs and performance
  • Follow all the chargeback activities flow (notification until dispute answer)
  • Identify offenders, opportunities, and come up with a strategy to address and fix it
  • Contribute with disruptive ideas and insights that will benefit the business
Main Requirements
  • Knowledge about chargeback flow
  • Constant need of self-development, comfort zone makes you uncomfortable, and you are guided by the test-learn methodology
  • Familiarity with dashboard tools, preferably Tableau
  • Payment market knowledge and familiarity with major players that compose the credit card transactional flow
  • SQL skills to extract data for analysis purposes and make daily activities easier
  • Advance to fluent English skills, as you will be communicating with a multinational team
  • Respect for all cultures and beliefs, without a prejudgment mindset

  • Statistical fundamentals and use them to guide data analysis, such as hypothesis testing, back testing rules, relative risk, etc.
  • Great communication skills and a fast learner
  • Knowledge about chargeback rates and card scheme programs
  • Fluency in Spanish
