Backend Software Development Specialist

This is a key contributor role in our team, responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality, scalable services that power our platform.

As a seasoned software developer, you will design and implement new backend services and features using .NET Core.

  • Design and implement new backend services and features using .NET Core.
  • Write clean, effective, and testable code with comprehensive unit testing coverage.
  • Own the end-to-end development lifecycle from code writing to deployment and monitoring.
  • Design solutions to complex problems with support from peers.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing actionable feedback to peers.
  • Contribute to system-level design discussions and API architecture decisions.
  • Monitor and maintain AWS services independently for our platform.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure reliability of our backend services.
  • Integrate security best practices into feature planning and implementation.
  • Share knowledge through pair programming, internal talks, and documentation.
  • Apply AI tools for code optimization, debugging, and performance monitoring.
  • Evaluate AI-generated solutions and refine them to meet specific needs.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience with .NET Core and its ecosystem.
  • Good understanding of backend architecture and API design principles.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of database design and data modeling.
  • Experience building and maintaining scalable backend services.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Experience using AI-powered development tools in coding workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills to effectively document and explain technical decisions.
  • Ability to manage expectations and communicate challenges proactively.
