Job Opportunity

The Principal Software Engineer plays a pivotal role in shaping the engineering strategy while staying deeply involved in the development process.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of critical systems with significant impact across multiple teams.
  • Drive technical strategy and set engineering standards for scalability, performance, security, and reliability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and business to influence product direction.
  • Identify how software and systems engineering drive revenue and reduce costs, and use that perspective to prioritize initiatives based on business impact.
  • Hire and mentor senior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, design sessions, and informal coaching.
  • Delve into the code, especially in high-stakes systems (distributed systems, high-throughput APIs, low-latency pipelines).
  • Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies that can create meaningful leverage.
  • Participate in brainstorming with the executive team on new initiatives from a software perspective.
