Security Governance and Compliance Expert

This role is critical to the success of our organization's Information Security Management System (ISMS). The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of ISO 27001 and/or SOC 2 frameworks, with experience in IT, software development, medical technology, and/or cloud hosting environments.
- Evaluate and apply security and privacy regulations, such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, NIST 800-53.
- Develop and maintain ISMS policies and procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Implement security awareness initiatives by creating training content.
- Audit internal processes to confirm adherence to ISMS guidelines and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead or support internal and external audits, coordinating corrective actions.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Cybersecurity, Business, or a related field, with at least 3 years' experience in a security-focused role.
