**Mission Statement of the Chief Security Officer

The Main Goal of this role is to ensure the safety and security of personnel, assets, and facilities within a designated area. This includes coordinating with regional security officers to implement effective prevention and protection measures.


Job Responsibilities:

This position involves several key responsibilities, including:

  • Advising senior management on security matters and ensuring compliance with group policies and guidelines.
  • Maintaining open communication with local authorities, Engie entity personnel, and other stakeholders as necessary.
  • Monitoring local regulations, threats, and technologies to stay informed and contribute to threat analysis.
  • Implementing physical protection measures to safeguard employees and assets.
  • Protecting sensitive information through staff awareness programs and investigations when needed.
  • Preparing for security crises and participating in regular internal control exercises.
  • Developing country-specific security policies and procedures in line with group rules and local regulations.
  • Collaborating with business developers to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Organization:

This role reports directly to the Country Managing Director, who appoints the Chief Security Officer. The CSO works under the supervision of their manager and has authority from the Regional Chief Security Officer. They are responsible for maintaining open lines of communication with local administrations, government agencies, and Engie entity personnel.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need strong skills in security management, risk assessment, and team leadership. You should also have excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, as well as experience working in a similar environment.
