Job Opportunity:

Regional Health, Safety and Environmental Specialist - Americas

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Health, Safety and Environmental (HSSE) Specialist to support the implementation of our HSSE Management System across the Americas region.

This role will involve working closely with the Head of Global HSSE and Regional Leadership to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HSSE systems, processes and programs to drive excellence in health, safety and environmental performance.
  • Serve as a technical expert and resource in HSSE matters, providing advice and support to employees and stakeholders.
  • Conduct inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills in HSSE practices.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of HSSE efforts.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field such as health and safety or environmental science.
  • Proven experience in HSSE management with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
