Safety and Quality Specialist

This role encompasses the execution of tasks associated with Health, Safety and Environment, as well as Quality System management for the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for adherence to standards and requirements, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of local HSE regulations and procedures.
Responsibilities:- Follow and disseminate health & safety protocols and regulations.
- Maintain awareness of local HSE laws and update internal procedures accordingly.
- Distribute and disclose HSE procedures and service orders for survey activities, controlling Personal Protection Equipment utilization.
- Conduct weekly and monthly safety dialogues.
- Technical degree in safety engineering.
- Ability to learn and understand established procedures and practices.
- Proficiency in computer skills including Excel, Word, and company software.
- Ability to comprehend routine business concepts and instructions.
- Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Influence and engagement of employees.
- Interpersonal savvy ability.
- Presentation skills.
- Working knowledge of ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems.
This position reports directly to a Manager, Director, or Executive level position. There are no direct reports for this role.
