Financial Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented financial professional to join our organization. As the Controller, you will oversee the financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and manage the accounting team to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the organization's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and accounting.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Review and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely financial processing.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to financial practices.
  • Maintain and enforce internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets and ensure integrity in financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and work to address any findings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
