International Trade Manager

Job Summary
Polaris Inc. seeks a skilled International Trade Manager to facilitate international trade transactions and operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and export and import laws. This role involves analyzing economic data, political climates, and market trends in various countries to identify new opportunities for imports or exports.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and facilitate international trade transactions and operations
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, export and import laws
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for imports or exports
- Engage in negotiations with international partners
- Work with logistics providers to ensure the smooth transportation of goods
- Prepare and review necessary documentation for international shipments
- Address any issues that arise, such as delays in shipment or disputes with customs officials
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or International Trade (preferred)
- At least 5-8 years of experience in a similar position
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
- English written and verbal; Spanish will be a plus
- Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and focus on customer satisfaction
