Senior Software Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable and efficient software solutions using Python.

  • Develop and maintain backend and AI solutions using Python
  • Interact with other teams and professionals, including developers, designers, project managers, and stakeholders
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of mockups
  • Build docker images that can run on top of AWS or other PaaS
  • Model databases using MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB
  • Write beautiful, readable, and scalable code
  • Review the code of other developers
  • Understand the needs of our partners and come up with solutions for their problems

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 6 years of experience working with software development
  • Experience with RESTful backend applications using Python, preferably with Django
  • Experience developing AI applications (genAI apps, RAG, AI integrations)
  • Experience with front-end development and JavaScript (TypeScript, Vue.js, or others)
  • Experience with deployment processes like Docker, CircleCI, AWS, Heroku
  • Experience with Git
  • Experience with different databases
  • Experience with UNIX systems and terminal usage
  • English proficiency
  • Knowledge about clean code, design patterns
  • Customer-centric mindset and strong client-facing experience
  • Being self-taught
  • Being up-to-date with the latest news and technologies about Backend
  • Good communication skills, both in verbal and writing
