Fire Prevention Systems Design Specialist

Evaluate architectural plans and building layouts to identify potential risks and specific system needs.
Conduct technical site visits for field reconnaissance, if necessary, to assess the environment and gather information about the site's conditions.
- Design fire prevention systems, including hydrants and hoses, sprinklers (automatic showers), fire detection and alarm systems, gas systems, and portable extinguishers and support networks.
Calculate flow, pressure, and hydraulic sizing of networks to ensure they are adequate for the site's requirements.
Define strategic positioning of devices to maximize effectiveness.
Create detailed plans using CAD or BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit).
Prepare descriptive reports, material lists, and diagrams to communicate with stakeholders.
Produce ART (Technical Responsibility Annotation) or RRT documents.
