Job Title: Environmental Health Specialist

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental health and safety, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We are looking for a motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team to promote health, safety, and wellbeing in the workplace.

This role is responsible for supporting the implementation of our Global EHS Management System, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing localized procedures and guidance.

Responsibilities:
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Support the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with local regulations and laws.
  • Occupational Health and Safety:
    • C coordinate with authorities as required.
    • Manage local health and safety committees (CIPA), Occupational Health Medical Control Program (PCMSO), and safety programs.
  • Employee Wellbeing:
    • Manage local occupational health services.
    • Coordinate mental health, wellbeing, and employee assistance programs.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Develop and maintain accurate documentation.
    • Prepare and communicate regular EHS performance reports to leadership.
  • Crisis Response:
    • Lead crisis and emergency response efforts from EHS perspective.
  • Team Development:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote health, safety, and wellbeing in the workplace.
    • Mentor junior team members.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS), Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in occupational health and safety.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and remain effective in high-pressure or crisis situations.
