Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing data products, creating advanced analytics, and building robust model pipelines to enable efficient customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop scalable data models, build restful APIs, and create complex data pipelines;
  • Perform debugging and issue resolution, root cause analysis, and proactive maintenance tasks;
  • Conduct code reviews, participate in pair-programming, and establish automated testing processes;
  • Lead efforts to minimize technical debt and optimize system performance;
  • Collaborate with agile teams, participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective activities;
  • Design and implement security frameworks around data pipelines and APIs to ensure data integrity;
  • Support new team members during onboarding.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field;
  • Advanced English proficiency;
  • Experience with ETL, Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, and large-scale datasets;
  • API Development experience, specifically REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot;
  • Knowledge of Test-Driven Development;
  • Experience leveraging DevOps and lean development principles, such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment using tools like Git and Jenkins;
  • Working knowledge of Data Engineering and respective tools and technologies, including Apache Spark, Databricks, Python, SQL DB, NoSQL DB, and Data Lake concepts;
  • Working knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda, RDS, ECS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3, and Gen AI;
  • Passion for learning new complex technical areas, accountability, curiosity, and collaboration with a focus on product quality;
  • Skilled in interpersonal communications and ability to explain complex topics to non-technical audiences;
  • Experience working in agile environments and distributed teams across time zones and locations.
