Job Opportunity

The role of Project Finance Manager is a pivotal position within our organization, overseeing the financial management of projects and reporting directly to the Head of Project finance managers in North America.

Key responsibilities include driving financial management of Hydro projects, including P&L and Balance Sheet, tracking Risk & Opportunities, and regular reporting to regional finance organization, HQ and Head of Operations.

Additional duties encompass preparing financials for quarterly project reviews, update of cost at completion estimates, and billing activities to external and internal customers, adhering to contractual requirements.

Essential Qualifications
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both Portuguese and English
  • Bachelor's degree in Administration or Accounting
  • Significant experience in a finance related role (FP&A, Controllership, Accounting)
  • Hands-on approach and autonomous working style
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to challenge existing processes and problem solve effectively
Desirable Skills
  • French language proficiency
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Capacity to influence others and lead small teams
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills
  • Proven analytical and organizational ability
  • Proficiency in MS office tools
  • Prior experience with SAP
  • Knowledge of Project Finance accounting
