System Software Architect Lead

This role is responsible for leading a team of skilled software developers in designing and implementing system software across various CPU architectures. The successful candidate will have experience in technical leadership, software development, and Linux.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a distributed team of engineers through hiring, coaching, mentoring, feedback, and career development.
- Contribute directly to your team's goals demonstrating sound engineering principles.
- Support timely delivery of technical solutions to meet business needs.
- Manage expectations with senior management and external stakeholders.
- Promote modern, agile software development practices and evangelize best engineering and organizational practices.
You will foster a healthy, collaborative engineering culture aligned with company values. You will participate actively in leadership discussions and collaborate with other leaders.
Requirements:- Passion for open source software, Linux, containers, security, and developer experience.
- Technical and management skills.
- Leadership experience managing software developers.
- Experience with embedded software.
- Familiarity with Golang, C/C++, and Shell scripting.
- Understanding of Linux, preferably with experience in Debian or Ubuntu.
This role involves working remotely with biannual travel for company events.
