We are seeking a seasoned Accounts Payable Manager to lead our team in optimizing accounts payable processes and ensuring timely, accurate recording of all supplier and intercompany transactions.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable, implementing new procedures, maintaining the accounts payable ledger, and supporting the team in recording high-volume supplier invoices. Additionally, they will control recurring expenses, identify necessary expense accruals, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage accounts payable functions to ensure timely documentation and payment processing.
- Implement process improvements to optimize receipt of supplier invoices and maintain accuracy.
- Maintain the accounts payable ledger, including reconciliation of supplier statements and resolution of discrepancies.
- Support the team in recording high-volume supplier invoices in the accounting system, ensuring accurate and complete recording with correct withholding taxes.
- Control recurring expenses, identify necessary expense accruals, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Good knowledge of accounts payable and general ledger principles.
- Experience with tax withholdings regulations is an asset.
- Advanced English skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication, multi-tasking, attention to detail, teamwork, organization, adaptability, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
