We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Buyer to join our team at TOTAL Deutschland GmbH. As a key member of our Procurement department, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure best value for the company
- Manage the procurement process from start to finish, including sourcing, bidding, and contract administration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of goods and services
- Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations
- Minimum 6 years of experience in procurement or a related field
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and managing procurement processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
