Job Overview
Boeing Brazil is in search of a Senior International Trip Planner, who will report directly to the International Trip Planning Manager and will operate from the São Paulo office. This role is pivotal in managing international trip logistics, including flight planning, customs coordination, flight monitoring, and customer communication across various sectors such as business, government, and commercial aviation within a 24/7 operational framework. The selected candidate will facilitate interactions with both ground and airborne aviation clients throughout all stages of planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Spearheads intricate trip and flight planning for diverse aviation sectors.
• Develops alternative plans and backup itineraries for client review and selection.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant FAA and international regulations in all planning activities.
• Gathers, distributes, and interprets a variety of essential publications (e.g., navigation charts, flight manuals) necessary for safe operations and regulatory compliance.
• Identifies emerging requirements and secures vital new publications. Maintains operational trip folders, including itinerary postings, requests for necessary diplomatic clearances, ground handling, fuel arrangements, accommodations, and other services via the Trip Planning System.
• Assists clients in crafting itineraries, leveraging knowledge of diplomatic protocols, airport limitations, fuel availability, aircraft range, and geopolitical contexts.
• Conducts research and maintains updated files for service providers, fuel suppliers, and diplomatic clearance agencies.
• Ensures that strategic account profiles and preferences are effectively identified and managed.
• Maintains ongoing communication with key contacts of assigned strategic accounts, documenting and sharing client preferences.
• Composes and validates flight plans for clients, coordinating with operations for transmission.
Work Arrangement:
This position is hybrid, requiring the selected candidate to perform some work onsite at designated locations as determined by the hiring team.

Basic Qualifications:
• Must possess existing rights to work in Brazil.
• A degree in an accredited field of study is required.
• Proficiency in both verbal and written English communication skills is essential.
• Ability to work in rotating shift patterns is necessary.
• Strong customer service skills are a must.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Extensive experience in international flight planning is highly desirable.
• Background in dispatch or possession of a pilot license, including instrument rating or other aviation certifications, is preferred.
Additional Information:
This position is for local hiring in Brazil. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil. Benefits and compensation are determined locally and are not part of Boeing's U.S.-based payroll.
