Job Title: Executive Operations Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Operations Director to lead the operational delivery of the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the tournament is executed successfully, with all logistical and operational aspects running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the operations team, working closely with all key stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration between departments and individuals involved in the tournament's operations.
  • Oversee the operational execution of the FIFA Women's World Cup, covering all tournament venues, from logistics and planning through to match-day operations.
  • Implement and oversee operational plans, ensuring alignment with FIFA's goals, timelines, and budgets.
Requirements:
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in managing operations for large-scale sports events (e.g. World Cup, Olympic Games, continental championships, etc.).
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams for international sporting events, with an emphasis on logistics, venue management, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading large teams and making strategic decisions.
  • In-depth knowledge of operational best practices in international sports events, including logistics, security, transportation, and venue operations.
  • Experience managing logistics for major international sporting events, including team operations, transport, logistics, goods delivery.
  • Strong understanding of FIFA regulations, tournament operations, and the international sports governance landscape.
