The FIFA Women's World Cup is the pinnacle of women's football globally, showcasing our sport, athletes, Member Associations, and fans.

Establishing a local subsidiary in Brazil to deliver this massive event requires operational expertise. As the Executive Director for Operations, you will lead the delivery of hosting conditions for host cities, stadium owners, local authorities, and third-party entities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Team Management:
    • Lead operations teams by collaborating with stakeholders (FIFA Zurich, government, host cities, commercial partners).
    • Ensure effective collaboration between departments and individuals involved in tournament operations.
    • Provide strategic guidance and decision-making during planning and execution phases.
  • Operational Planning & Execution:
    • Oversee the operational execution of the FIFA Women's World Cup at all venues, from logistics and planning through to match-day operations.
    • Implement operational plans ensuring alignment with FIFA's goals, timelines, and expectations.
    • Coordinate functional areas for seamless operations at all venues.
Your Profile:
  • Extensive Experience in Major Sports Events:
    • At least 8-10 years of experience managing operations for large-scale sports events.
    • Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams for international sporting events focusing on logistics, venue management, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Leadership & Management:
    • Strong experience leading large teams managing diverse high-performing teams.
    • Previous experience in senior management roles with decision-making authority.
    • Ability to work in high-pressure environments and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
