Inventory Control Specialist

The Inventory Control Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our retail stores. This includes managing stock levels, overseeing shipping and receiving procedures, and maintaining loss prevention standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maximize productivity by effectively managing inventory levels and streamlining logistics
  • Maintain accurate knowledge of all shipping and receiving procedures and required documentation
  • Receive merchandise directly from vendors and ensure it is accurately processed and accounted for
  • Manage inter-store transfers and damages, as well as shipments and returns
  • Ensure compliance with store policies and maintain a secure environment through awareness and adherence to loss prevention standards
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of retail operations experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment
  • Proven ability to manage an inventory room efficiently and effectively, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to carry boxes, stand for long periods, and use a step ladder. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with these physical demands and able to perform the duties of the role safely and efficiently.
