Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to lead our software quality and user experience initiatives. This role focuses on crafting high-quality automated tests, with an emphasis on API testing, to ensure the reliability and performance of our products.

  • Develop and maintain robust automated test frameworks primarily focused on API testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage and reliability of backend services.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, collaborating closely with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to enhance deployment processes and ensure seamless test execution.
  • Design and implement efficient testing solutions for APIs, ensuring the accuracy, performance, and stability of test scenarios across different environments.
  • Serve as a technical expert in automation, assisting in the selection and adaptation of various testing tools and frameworks.
  • Lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring that quality standards and deadlines are met.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in software test automation (4+ years), including hands-on expertise with API testing frameworks.
  • Proficiency in scripting with TypeScript/JavaScript and/or Python, with Postman experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and initiatives to completion with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical issues and solutions to stakeholders.
  • Experience with JMeter.
  • Strong experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with DevOps teams.
  • Experience with hardware testing is highly desirable and considered a significant advantage.
  • A proactive problem-solver with an innovative mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
