Expert Research Evaluator

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team as freelance peer reviewers for journals and publishers. Freelance peer reviewers will work on a project-by-project basis, assessing the novelty of submitted manuscripts, evaluating their originality and contribution to the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate study design and methodology, ensuring that research can be accurately reproduced in the future.
  • Conduct a thorough literature review, verifying that the manuscript incorporates and cites relevant research in the field.
  • Analyze results and conclusions, determining whether they are supported by data and significant to the field.
  • Provide constructive feedback, suggesting improvements or highlighting flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.

Prior experience as a peer reviewer is highly desirable, as is familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and objectivity is essential.

Requirements
  • Doctorate (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced degree in the subject area.
  • At least two publications in the last two years in your field.
  • Thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles within the relevant discipline.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written communication skills.
