The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting in various financial tasks, including maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the company's growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the month-end closing process by reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports.
  • Be responsible for Fixed Assets control and Finance Leases, ensuring accurate tracking and timely reporting.
  • Stay updated on relevant accounting and tax regulations, focusing on Brazil and the United States, to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure the company's compliance with all legal and tax requirements.
  • Assist in analyzing financial trends and preparing detailed reports for management to facilitate strategic decision-making.
  • Help monitor and optimize operational costs by identifying efficiency opportunities.
  • Assist in both external and internal audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of Direct Taxes and financial statement closure, including ECD/ECF.
  • Experience in USGAAP and/or IFRS.
  • Desirable experience in medium-sized companies (Experience in a Big 4 firm will be advantageous).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in English communication, at least at a B2 level or above.
