Senior Engineering Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced engineering leader to oversee the development process, ensuring best practices are followed and that the team consistently meets both technical and business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of software engineers, ensuring timely delivery of features and projects
  • Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to define project requirements and prioritize work
  • Ensure best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration
  • Mentor and coach engineers, fostering both personal and technical growth within the team
  • Monitor the team's progress and remove roadblocks to maintain project momentum
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align engineering efforts with business objectives

As a seasoned engineering leader, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our organization. Your expertise in software development methodologies, tools, and processes will be invaluable in driving success.

Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering
  • 2+ years in a people leadership or management role
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and processes (i.e., Agile, Scrum)
  • Expertise with either React or Ruby on Rails (Both a plus)
  • Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks (i.e., JavaScript, Python, Node.js, React)
  • Experience with version control systems (i.e., Git) and CI/CD pipelines (i.e., Jenkins, CircleCI)
