BIM Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our team in delivering exceptional project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Ensure top-notch BIM consultation, troubleshooting, and strategy implementation, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Team Management: General managerial duties of the BIM team including ongoing support, troubleshooting, and guidance for BIM workflows.
  • Quality Control: Ensure project delivery meets BIM standards and the requirements for the project BIM Execution plan.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Understand and manage drawing workflows between engineering disciplines.
  • Communication: Translate project requirements into drawings/models that will be used by Engineers.
  • Project Coordination: Operate according to the project scope, specifications, and design criteria within a project task team.
  • Process Improvement: Ensure any changes in practice or project standards are effectively communicated to the project teams and implemented.
  • Collaboration with Experts: Work with other modelers, CAD specialists, and designers to build/manage model databases, templates, and standard procedures.
  • Talent Development: Support technician staff to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Training and Mentorship: Provide ongoing training to project teams in the use of BIM tools. Mentoring and overseeing the development of champions in less experienced staff.
  • Content Maintenance: Maintain existing standard content and safeguard their fidelity relative to any current and new company processes.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on the modeling efforts of others to ensure tools to support upstream engineering or downstream project management.
  • Innovation and Optimization: Investigate and develop methods to use BIM models or software tools to support engineering or downstream project management.

To excel in this role, you will need good communication skills to interface with customers, engineers, and designers. Expert practical knowledge in Autodesk Software Products is required. Familiarity with UK & US CAD Standards is considered an asset. Strong leadership skills are necessary to oversee and manage employees and milestones to meet objectives and timelines.
