This is a key leadership position within Infrastructure Platforms, responsible for driving the architecture of our next generation IaaS distributed storage platform.
About the Role- Leverage deep understanding of infrastructure architecture, applications, processes, and product management to drive results and solve complex issues on projects across teams.
- Lead the implementation of the infrastructure architecture process to achieve functional objectives.
- Manage multiple complex projects, processes, and initiatives in the function.
- Mentor and coach junior architects and technologists.
- Experience with modern programming languages (C++, Go, Python) and Kubernetes.
- Significant experience with Ceph and other loosely coupled distributed storage architectures.
- Experience managing data storage within highly regulated environments.
- Practical cloud-native experience.
- Experience working at code level with a focus on large-scale performance profiling and troubleshooting of distributed systems.
- Experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and KVM.
- Experience with data engineering/data pipelining.
