Event Coordinator Specialist

NTU International A/S is a leading company in the field of international projects and is currently looking for an experienced Communication and Event Organiser to strengthen European Union engagement with local governments in the Amazonian region.
The main objective of this assignment is to ensure the involvement of local governments in climate governance (mitigation and adaptation) towards COP 30 and beyond. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in coordinating events and promoting climate diplomacy in the region.
This is a two-year contract, from March 2025 to March 2027, with possible extension. You will be based in Brasilia and will have the opportunity to work on a high-profile EU project.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have relevant professional experience in event organisation, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong network relevant to the topic of the assignment. Participation in past EU projects is required, and fluency in English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese is essential.
You will also need to have at least six years' experience in the sector related to the project and minimum three years' proven professional experience supporting similar projects in the region. Experience working in the Amazonian region is highly valued.
