Senior Compliance Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to assume the role of Power Compliance Leader in Latin America.

• The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the business, organization, relevant industry regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
• This individual will design and implement the compliance strategy for the Latin America Power business.
• Key responsibilities include working directly with leadership teams and stakeholders across all business units to drive engagement, hosting compliance review boards, and supporting strategic initiatives.
• This role also involves driving a compliance culture across the region, ensuring employees are aware of the program, policies, and procedures.
• Additional duties include executing commercial-focused compliance through third-party due diligence risk management, risk mitigation, introduction of new markets or strategies.
• The successful candidate will ensure compliance controls are effectively operational, aiding the central program team in implementing new requirements or addressing monitoring gaps as necessary.
• Support will be provided in investigations (e.g., approvals) and collaboration with the open reporting team on trend analysis and risk identification, ensuring high standards of program excellence and responsiveness to employee concerns in line with regulatory requirements.
• Critical matters such as government investigations, high-priority legal investigations, monitoring, and internal audits will require the ability to provide support and expertise.
• Conducting compliance risk assessments for the Latin America region and developing mitigation plans across the global business is a key aspect of this role.
• Project and fixed facility site visits may be required to support the implementation of compliance culture, processes, and controls at the site.
• Continual review and evaluation of laws and regulations and their impact on businesses in Latin America will be necessary, along with identifying and constructing a strategic response and leading improvements where required.
• Business-level support on the implementation and execution of Compliance Enterprise Standards, training, communications, monitoring outcomes or data analytics requests will be expected.
• Assistance with broader Power Compliance teams on business-wide objectives, compliance-related duties, special projects, and initiatives to support the overall compliance program as self-identified or directed will also be required.
