Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Demand Planner to lead our demand planning efforts across short- and long-term horizons. This role will oversee a team that integrates insights from sales, marketing, finance, and other functions to drive demand planning within the SIOP process.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for various time horizons, including near-term executional demand control, 24-month rolling operational forecast, yearly AOP, and five-year strategic plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate and reliable demand forecasts using statistical models and market data.
  • Lead a team in reviewing historical sales trends, researching demand drivers, preparing forecast data, reviewing statistical forecast models, integrating market data, and evaluating forecast results.
  • Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to obtain and ensure current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
  • Identify significant variances to prior forecasts for discussion during the monthly IBP demand review process.
  • Maintain and utilize demand planning software as the primary forecasting system tool and serve as the systems expert on all projects.
  • Develop and maintain required reporting, such as accuracy metrics and projections, to assist in the consensus process.
  • Generate demand planning scenarios during strategic planning process.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, business, or related field.
  • Solid experience in supply chain demand planning.
  • Forecasting and analytical expertise.
  • Leadership and team management.
  • Strategic and scenario planning.
  • Utilization of advanced planning systems.
  • Minimum Advanced level of English.
