Sustainable Land Use Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our land use initiatives.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to develop and execute strategic land use initiatives with various stakeholders. Your goal will be to drive progress in key environmental and social impact areas and deliver value to customers and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the advancement of our land use strategy and lead the design and implementation of strategic initiatives focused on ending deforestation in our supply chains.
  • Partner with nongovernmental organizations, foundations, universities, financial institutions, competitors, and governments to build deforestation-free supply chains and advance our land use objectives.
  • Collaborate across the organization to develop shared roadmaps to achieve our land use goals and forecast resource needs.
  • Develop and execute internal and external progress reporting on our land use goals.
  • Communicate land use strategy, policies, and objectives to suppliers, partners, and customers to drive the extension of our supply chain policies and requirements through our suppliers.
  • Represent the company in external senior-level stakeholder forums and media in matters related to land use.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Technical knowledge in environmental, economic, and social benefits of sustainable development.
  • Experience in identifying customer needs and developing solutions.
  • Solid related work experience.
  • Experience on land use projects and multi-stakeholder initiatives.
