We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Fairmont Pittsburgh. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Registration: Greet guests upon arrival, check-in and check-out, and update guest profiles to ensure accuracy.
- Room Assignment: Assign rooms to guests while meeting luxury standards and ensuring utmost safety and confidentiality.
- Key Issuance: Issue keys to guests while maintaining discretion and protecting guest privacy.
- Account Settlement: Settle guest accounts while ensuring all services standards are followed.
- Revenue Generation: Drive revenue through room upsells and cross-promotion of other hotel outlets.
- Communication: Assist guests with inquiries regarding hotel facilities and services, and resolve guest issues and inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in Front Office operations in a luxury setting is an asset.
- Skills: Proficiency in Front Office Systems-Micros-Fidelio and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), excellent written/verbal communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Working Conditions:
- Physical Demands: Constant walking and standing during shift, occasional exertion of up to 25 pounds lift, carry, push, or pull objects.
