Job Overview:

As a senior project leader, you will oversee the development of large-scale projects in Latam, primarily in Chile and Brazil. Your expertise will drive the success of these complex initiatives, which combine hybrid renewable energy, water, electrolyzers, derivatives synthesis facilities, ports, and delivery pipelines.

  • Develop and implement strategies for large-scale PtX projects in collaboration with external partners
  • Manage partner relationships to meet performance objectives and advance projects through development milestones
  • Oversee consultant SMEs supporting projects across various specialties, including environmental studies, permitting, public affairs, real estate legal, engineering studies, PtX technology, water engineering, and midstream transportation
  • Travel to project sites to meet with partners and stakeholders as needed
  • Contribute to the development of the green hydrogen and derivatives strategy by staying informed on industry trends, markets, policy, and competitive landscape; research subjects and provide insights to enhance the team's knowledge base
  • Lead regular project update meetings with the extended team and partners
  • Maintain project schedules, KPI dashboards, and budgets
  • Assist with project-level accounting and financials
  • Provide inputs into the techno-economic model used to support project economics and offtake
  • Support discussions with potential partners or offtakers
  • Coordinate with GIS and engineering teams to assist in developing project layouts
  • Help with process improvement and protocol creation for the growing organization
Requirements:
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Clear-thinking and organizational approach, utilizing project management tools to drive project strategy
  • Knowledge of the full project development lifecycle and ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of green hydrogen, ammonia, or e-fuels is beneficial but not required
