As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the finance team and overseeing financial operations in Brazil.
About the Role- You will work closely with the Country Manager to define and implement the local finance strategy, driving growth and success in the Brazilian market;
- Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring achievement of targets and deadlines;
- Manage costs and cash position, as well as prepare budgets and forecasts to support management decisions;
- Work closely with company accountants, lawyers, and other advisors;
- Manage external audits and ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards;
- Control and lead external stakeholders, including banks, tax advisors, external auditors, service providers, and consultants;
- Review payrolls together with the HR team;
- A degree in Accounting or Finance; senior experience in related areas is required;
- Experience in running a finance unit of a local operation is essential;
- Familiarity with all finance functional areas, including budgeting, reporting, controlling, accounting, and tax is necessary;
- Advanced Excel modeling and analytical skills are essential;
- Ability to prepare and analyze financial reports and projections is crucial;
