MARKETING COORDINATOR

Role Overview:

In the capacity of a Marketing Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to devise, assess, and present strategies and action plans aimed at fulfilling the marketing objectives for both the region and specific products. This role encompasses conducting comprehensive market research, which includes designing surveys, guiding researchers and marketing professionals, overseeing field operations, and analyzing the resulting data. You will collaborate closely with sales teams, research and development, as well as participate in Innovation Days focused on customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and explore new business avenues while spearheading lead generation initiatives, prioritizing direct customer engagement where suitable.
  • Facilitate innovation workshops with key clients, proposing novel packaging concepts.
  • Engage in both national and international trade shows to scout for potential clients and forge partnerships with key stakeholders (equipment manufacturers, suppliers, etc.).
  • Craft compelling sales presentations and trade proposals (Value Proposition and Pricing) for our product offerings. Provide support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle.
  • Assess emerging technologies within the AFLA region and globally, along with shifts in consumer behavior that may influence the packaging sector in the medium to long term. Ensure that Amcor's innovations align with these trends and deliver significant business value.
  • Regularly compile market share and competitive analysis reports to assist Amcor in refining its strategic approach.
  • Establish connections with research institutions and data providers to fulfill macroeconomic and marketing information requirements.
  • Create commercial support materials and training resources.
  • Participate in defining the pipeline for new products/projects and oversee their implementation.
  • Manage product portfolios across various market segments.
  • Conduct analysis on product margins, costs, and pricing strategies.
  • Perform market and competitor evaluations.
  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is required.

A postgraduate qualification in Business Management, Economics, or a related discipline is preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Experience in Consumer Goods or market intelligence within B2B environments is advantageous.

Willingness to travel nationally (frequently) and internationally (occasionally) is essential.

Language Proficiency:

Fluency in English is required.

Proficiency in Spanish is considered a plus.
