Job Description:

The Night Auditor is responsible for performing front office and night audit duties for the entire hotel. This includes managing guest arrivals, departures, and overall experience. The Night Auditor provides information to guests about hotel policies, services, and amenities.

Responsibilities:
  • Performs front office and night audit duties for the entire hotel.
  • Manages the arrival, departure, and overall experience for hotel guests.
  • Provides information to guests about hotel policies, services, and amenities.
  • Sells and upsells rooms to walk-in customers.
  • Communicates with the sales department to ensure knowledge of key accounts and groups.
  • Enters and changes reservation information on the computer system.
  • Posts charges to guest accounts.
  • Processes payments from guests.
  • Closes, balances, and makes necessary corrections to guest accounts.
  • Counts and balances cash, credit cards, and direct bill accounts.
  • Investigates or analyzes out-of-balance situations and makes adjustments or corrections as needed.
  • Completes various computer audit reports.
  • Performs all duties as outlined in the training manual.
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and verbally in English.
  • Excellent hospitality skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
