This role involves working as a remote contractor within the Power BI/Data Engineering team, partnering with technical and functional partners to meet project needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to work effectively with stakeholders, and drive project progress forward.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Power BI development and engineering (DAX and semantic model development and deployment)
  • Strong coding abilities in PySpark and Python
  • Professional experience with Databricks, Fabric, or similar Spark platforms
  • Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops for repository management and version control
  • Excellent communication skills and experience interacting with business stakeholders and technical teams
Nice to Have:
  • Knowledge of Tabular and ALM tools for semantic model automation
  • Experience working globally or with international teams
