About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Game Development Engineer to join our AWS Game-Based Learning team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our game-based learning products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to design and deliver high-quality game-based learning products;
  • Drive the development of our game tech stack and promote best practices to produce high-quality games;
  • Partner with technical and business stakeholders to influence our long-term strategy and establish the team's roadmap;
  • Make data-driven decisions by leveraging industry landscape data and user feedback;
  • Write high-quality code and contribute to the production of multiple games and features.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience with Unity, Unreal, CryEngine, Lumberyard, or proprietary 3D game engine;
  • 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems;
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#;
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese (verbal and written);
  • Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations;
  • Experience in the Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops);
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
